Helfy® Male Prostate Profile
Clinical vigilance for the engine of male vitality.
Prostate health is a non-negotiable component of the male longevity blueprint. This doctor-led diagnostic test measures the levels of Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA), a protein produced by the prostate gland. While small amounts are normal, elevated levels provide an essential early-warning signal for inflammation, enlargement, or other cellular changes.
🔬 What We Test — And Why It Matters
Clinical Screening & Prostate Integrity
-
Total PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen)
The primary biomarker for monitoring prostate health. PSA serves as a "liquid biopsy" indicator that reflects the physiological state of the prostate tissue. Regular monitoring allows for the detection of trends over time, which is often more clinically significant than a single snapshot.
⚠️ Important Clinical Requirement
- This blood panel must be followed by a consultation with the Helfy® Clinic you are registered to.
- Without a booked clinical review, we are unable to process or release this blood test order.
- Results are not issued without appropriate medical oversight.
A PSA result should never be viewed in isolation. Our clinicians interpret your level in the context of your age, prostate volume, family history, and current symptoms.

🧪 How to prepare for your helfy®Test
Pre-Test Instructions
-
Sample Type
This test requires a venous blood draw performed by a qualified clinician. -
Activity Restrictions
To prevent a "false positive" or artificial elevation of PSA, you must avoid ejaculation or vigorous exercise (specifically cycling or heavy lower-body weightlifting) for 48 hours prior to the test. -
Clinical Timing
Do not test if you have had a digital rectal examination (DRE), prostate biopsy, or bladder catheterisation within the last 6 weeks. -
Health Condition
Ensure you are free from any symptoms of a urinary tract infection (UTI) or prostatitis, as inflammation can significantly spike PSA levels regardless of underlying risk. -
Medications
Please inform your clinician if you are taking medications for hair loss (such as Finasteride) or prostate enlargement, as these can artificially lower PSA readings by up to 50%.
