🧪 How to prepare for your helfy®Test

Pre-Test Instructions

• Sample Type
  This test requires a venous blood draw performed by a qualified clinician.
• Fasting
  While not strictly mandatory for this specific set of markers, a morning fasted state (8–10 hours) is preferred to ensure a standardized baseline for Urea and LFTs.
• Hydration
  Drink water normally. Dehydration can artificially elevate your Creatinine and Urea levels, leading to an inaccurate eGFR reading.
• Activity
  Avoid strenuous, high-intensity exercise for 24–48 hours before the test. Intense muscle breakdown can cause a temporary spike in Creatinine and Liver enzymes.
• Medications
  Inform your clinician of any medications or supplements (especially creatine) you are currently taking, as these can directly influence kidney results.
