Helfy® Centenarian Diagnostic Blood Panel — Female

Where female physiology meets future-proof medicine.

The Future of Women’s Health Isn’t Generic.

The Helfy® Centenarian Programme goes beyond "normal ranges" to explore what optimal health looks like for high-performing women. This bespoke clinical-grade blood panel is run at the beginning and end of the 100-day programme, allowing for real data to inform real transformation.

From hormone tracking to cardiovascular markers and nutrient insights, this test is designed to help reverse decline, optimise energy, and support healthy ageing in women of all life stages — from reproductive years to peri- and post-menopause.

🔬 What We Test – And Why It Matters

Biomarker What It Reveals
Lipid Profile Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides — essential for assessing long-term heart and metabolic health
Apolipoproteins (Apo A1 & B) More accurate risk markers than traditional cholesterol tests, especially relevant for women’s unique lipid profiles
Lipoprotein(a) A key genetic marker for cardiovascular disease risk — often elevated in women and missed in routine tests
HbA1c Average blood glucose levels over 2-3 months — a vital marker for insulin resistance and metabolic health
Liver Function Tests (LFTs) Assesses detoxification, liver enzymes, protein synthesis — critical for hormone metabolism
Kidney Function (U&E) Monitors filtration, hydration, and electrolyte balance — foundational for blood pressure and vitality
Vitamin D Affects bone density, immune response, and hormone regulation — especially important for women over 35
Active Vitamin B12 The energy vitamin — helps prevent fatigue, brain fog, and neuropathy
Magnesium Supports sleep, muscle recovery, blood pressure, and hormonal balance
Iron Profile (incl. Ferritin, TIBC) Detects iron deficiency or overload — essential for energy, cognition, and menstruating women
TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) First-line thyroid function test — identifies underactive or overactive thyroid which is common in women
Free T4 Provides a more complete picture of how the thyroid is functioning and converting hormones into energy

🔬 Female-Specific Hormone Panel

Hormone What It Reveals
FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) Indicates ovarian reserve, menopausal status, and reproductive function
LH (Luteinising Hormone) Key for understanding ovulation cycles, hormone signalling, and perimenopausal shifts
Oestradiol (E2) Primary female sex hormone — critical for mood, skin, metabolism, bone health, and libido

How to prepare?

Prepare for your helfy®Female Advanced Blood Test by following these instructions:

  • Timing: Please take your sample before 10am. If you have an unusual sleep pattern (e.g., shift worker), take this test within 2 hours of waking.
  • Health Condition: Take this test when any symptoms of short-term illness have settled.
  • Medications: Corticosteroid medication can affect this test; ask your doctor whether to stop before testing.
  • Hormone Products: If you use hormone gels, patches, or tablets, use gloves when administering these products. Ensure your fingers have not been in contact with hormone supplements for at least four weeks before the test.
  • Supplements: Take this test before any medication or vitamin/mineral supplements. Do not take biotin supplements for two days before this test; discuss this with your doctor if prescribed.
  • Contraception: Hormonal contraception can affect this test; taking a break and using barrier contraception will give more accurate results. If you stop taking the pill, wait until your periods resume their normal cycle before testing. AMH levels fluctuate minimally throughout the menstrual cycle, so taking the test at any point will give valid results. However, if you have regular periods and are tracking your results over time, we recommend taking the test between days two and five of your cycle for consistency or following guidance from your fertility specialist.
