🧪 How to prepare for your helfy®Test
Pre-Test Instructions

Timing
Take your sample before 10am. If you work shifts or have an altered sleep pattern, test within 2 hours of waking. -
Health Condition
Only test once any short-term illness or infection has fully resolved. -
Medications
Corticosteroids can affect results. Please discuss with your doctor before testing. -
Hormone Products
If using hormone gels, patches, or tablets, use gloves when applying.
Ensure fingers have not been in contact with hormone products for at least four weeks before testing. -
Supplements
Take the test before any medication or vitamin/mineral supplements.
Avoid biotin supplements for two days prior to testing. If prescribed biotin, consult your doctor. -
Contraception
Hormonal contraception can influence results.
For maximum accuracy, consider a break with barrier contraception. If stopping the pill, wait until normal cycles resume.
For consistent longitudinal tracking, testing between days 2–5 of your cycle is recommended unless advised otherwise by your fertility specialist.
