Helfy® TRT Profile

Precision monitoring for hormonal performance and clinical safety.

Optimizing testosterone is a delicate balance of science and safety. This doctor-led diagnostic panel is specifically designed to monitor the key physiological markers impacted by exogenous or endogenous hormone shifts. By tracking blood viscosity (FBC), estrogen conversion (Oestradiol), and prostate health (PSA) alongside bioavailable testosterone, we provide the essential data required to manage your hormonal health with absolute precision.

🔬 What We Test — And Why It Matters

The Androgen & Estrogen Balance

  • Total & Free Testosterone (Calculated)
We measure the total output and calculate the "Free" fraction—the biologically active hormone that drives muscle protein synthesis, libido, and cognitive function.
  • Oestradiol & Prolactin
Crucial for monitoring the "aromatization" (conversion) of testosterone. Keeping these in the optimal range is essential for mood stability, preventing water retention, and maintaining breast tissue health.
  • SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin)
A transport protein that dictates how much of your testosterone is actually usable by your cells.
  • DHEA-Sulphate
An adrenal precursor that supports the hormonal "backbone" and provides insight into adrenal resilience during optimization.

Vascular & Organ Safety Monitoring

  • Full Blood Count (FBC)
The most critical safety marker for TRT. We monitor Hematocrit and Hemoglobin to ensure blood viscosity remains within safe limits, mitigating cardiovascular risk.
  • PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) Test
Ongoing vigilant screening of the prostate to ensure that any hormonal protocol remains within strict clinical governance parameters.
  • Liver Function Test (LFT)
A comprehensive look at liver enzymes to ensure the body is effectively processing and metabolizing hormonal treatments and supplements.

⚠️ Important Clinical Requirement

  • This blood panel must be followed by a consultation with the Helfy® Clinic you are registered to.
  • Without a booked clinical review, we are unable to process or release this blood test order.
  • Results are not issued without appropriate medical oversight.

This is critical for TRT, as dosage adjustments must be made based on a holistic view of your blood markers and clinical symptoms.

🔐 Clinical Governance Notice

How We Protect You

  • All diagnostic blood panels require a follow-up consultation with the Helfy® Clinic you are registered to
  • Results are not released without clinical review
  • Orders without a booked consultation cannot be processed

This is a doctor-led diagnostic pathway designed for clinical safety and the long-term management of hormonal health.

💡 Designed for people who:

This Panel Is For You If You:

  • Are currently on a TRT protocol and require professional monitoring
  • Are considering hormonal optimization and need a comprehensive safety baseline
  • Experience symptoms of "estrogen spikes" or hormonal fluctuations
  • Want to ensure your blood thickness (hematocrit) is within a safe, healthy range
  • Prioritize data-driven safety in their pursuit of peak performance

🧪 How to prepare for your helfy®Test

Pre-Test Instructions

  • Sample Type
This test requires a venous blood draw performed by a qualified clinician.
  • Timing
Samples must be taken before 10am. If you are on a TRT protocol, your clinician will advise whether to test at your "peak" or "trough" (usually just before your next dose).
  • PSA & Activity
Avoid ejaculation or vigorous exercise (specifically cycling) for 48 hours prior to the test to prevent false elevations in PSA.
  • Hydration
Drink 500ml of water before your appointment. Proper hydration is essential for accurate Hematocrit (FBC) readings.
  • Supplements
Avoid Biotin for 48 hours prior. Do not apply any topical hormone gels to your arms on the morning of the test to avoid contaminating the sample site.
