Helfy® Advanced Thyroid Plus Hormones Profile

A comprehensive audit of the two master systems governing your metabolism and vitality.

Peak performance is found at the intersection of metabolic rate and hormonal balance. This doctor-led diagnostic panel investigates the deep synergy between the thyroid gland and the reproductive axis. By combining our full Advanced Thyroid suite with a complete sex hormone profile, we identify how your "metabolic thermostat" is influencing your energy, mood, and physical composition. This is the definitive diagnostic for those seeking a high-resolution view of their internal biological synchronisation.

🔬 What We Test — And Why It Matters

The Advanced Thyroid & Autoimmune Axis

  • TSH, FT4, FT3, T4 & Antibodies (TPO/TgAb)
We assess the entire production line: from the brain’s signal to the circulating reservoir and the active hormone that drives your cells. The inclusion of antibodies identifies whether a silent immune response is the root cause of metabolic fluctuations.

The Reproductive & Vitality Suite

  • Testosterone, FAI & SHBG
We measure your total and "free" (bioavailable) testosterone. SHBG is a critical marker here; its levels are often influenced by thyroid health, and an imbalance can disrupt how much active hormone is available for muscle repair and cognitive drive.
  • Oestradiol, LH & FSH
The essential markers of the pituitary-ovarian axis. These hormones regulate reproductive health and are highly sensitive to thyroid status; a sluggish thyroid can often "blunt" these signals, leading to irregular cycles or reduced vitality.
  • Prolactin
Often called the "stress hormone" of the endocrine system. Elevated prolactin can be a secondary result of thyroid stress, acting as a biological brake on your other reproductive hormones.

⚠️ Important Clinical Requirement

  • This comprehensive panel must be followed by a consultation with the Helfy® Clinic you are registered to.
  • Without a booked clinical review, we are unable to process or release this blood test order.
  • Results are not issued without appropriate medical oversight.

Because the thyroid and sex hormones are deeply interdependent, our clinicians must synthesize these results to determine the primary driver of any imbalance.

🧪 How to prepare for your helfy®Test

Pre-Test Instructions

  • Sample Type
This test requires a venous blood draw performed by a qualified clinician.
  • Cycle Timing
For the most accurate reproductive baseline, women should ideally test on Day 2, 3, or 4 of their cycle. If cycles are absent, you may test at any time.
  • Timing
You must take your sample before 10am to capture the peak circadian levels of TSH and Testosterone.
  • Medications
If you take thyroid medication, take your blood sample before your morning dose.
  • Supplements
Avoid Biotin (Vitamin B7) for at least 48 hours prior to the test. Biotin significantly interferes with both thyroid and sex hormone assays, leading to inaccurate results.
  • Fasting
A morning, fasted state is required for this comprehensive endocrine profile.
